Lab grown diamonds are endlessly fascinating - to be able to make something above the earth in a short period of time, that usually takes millions of years to grow below ground is almost a miracle.

Each diamond is grown from a small carbon 'seed' - a sliver of a lab grown diamond. This is put into a chamber where carbon rich gases are introduced and heated to create plasma. Carbon attaches to the seed and grows atom by atom into a diamond.

After around six weeks the diamond is completely grown and is ready to be cut and polished. It then goes on to be inspected, certified and inscribed.

All of our lab grown diamonds go through third party grading and certification, much like a mined diamond. Each one is inscribed with a patent & certificate number and graded against the traditional 4C's that are standard practice in the mined diamond industry.

Grown above the earth, lab grown diamonds mindfully minimise environmental damage. Chemically and physically, lab grown diamonds are identical to those mined underground, but have a much lighter carbon footprint.
